How to use a Dream Journal
68Commitment is the key!
If you want to learn to write up a dream journal whether it be to induce lucid dream, interpret your dreams, or just feel the need to write, this is the hub to read. You can make your journal look fantastic and appealing by following some simple steps:
- Title - To tell briefly what your dream is about.
- Date - To state when you had this dream.
- Genre - What genre is it in? Action, romance, ordinary?
- Time - Between what times did you have the dream?
- Lucidity - Were you lucid at all during this dream?
- Description - The main writing piece, describe your dream in detail, and you will be more inclined to have a lucid dream later on.
- A Picture - Gives the page a better look and tells what the dream is about in brief. Draw or simply print a related image, both look great.
Many dreamers seem to quickly jot down their dreams on a piece of paper from a notepad, possibly not even writing down the date they had the dream. This will eventually cause you to lose motivation if you leave the piece of notepad paper lieing around and don't do anything with it. You don't have to invest large amounts of money on a dream journal, just a cheap $15 will do you good. If you decorate the dream journal, with pictures for each dream, maybe drawings, or you can even decorate the front cover, just make it appealing so it encourages you to write in it every morning.
Make sure you write in it every morning, i know it may get time consuming, it does, but surely you have time to jot 5+ dot points about the dream that you can work on later.

Thank youuu! (: I've been looking for something like this all over the internet! Wooooo! But where's the link..? Just making sure I have a professional-looking dream journal. :p
I have a lot of dream journals. Sometimes I dream about my most favorite anime, FullMetal Alchemist with my fav hottest character, EDWARD ELRIC!! ^_^ ^_o
Hi back!
I have dreams about another anime instead which it's called TSUBASA RESERvoir CHRoNiCLE. ^_^
I have dreams about my most fav character of that anime is (real) Syaoran Li!!
@ iPodTouchTapp - thanks for that comment! that's so sweet! >_
@iPodTouchTapp - Thanks. I do. You see, when I was four ot five years old before I go to school and come home from schoo, I watched Sailor Moon in the morning and Cardcaptor Sakura in the afternoon. I think in the weekends, it's both.
It's like I'm Sakura Kinomoto (CCS) or Princess Sakura (TRC) in real life.
The funniest part is at middle school; whenever I feel tired (cause I hate school (lol)), I asleep, then my BFF beside hits me in the head to wake me up, which I hate waking up! LOL!
I known as Dreamseer or Daydreamer.
That's why I love dreams!
You rock!
Dreams rock!

I used to keep a dream journal but found I could not remember dreams right away. SOmetimes something would strike me in the middle of the day and I would remember bits and pieces. Who dreams according to genre? my dreams are bits and pieces of everything. It isn't like a full length film! Good hub topic!
