Plock is a game quite similar to Bejeweled, but of which has no aim.
In Plock, you must tap coloured blocks next to each other (3 or more) to
get points + combos, and in either classic or survival, it will boost
your timer/progress, allowing you to play longer.
I have only reached level 9 in Survival, and I must say, it was no different the second time.
This game is $1.19, but it was recently on the Appstore for free. Lucky I got it for free. Plock has no real replay value, as it leaves you randomly tapping the screen hoping to get combos. There is no strategy to Plock and has limited content.
Many iDevice + other console games are expected to have achievements,
which this game hasn't. Game Center & Openfeint are integrated, but
it only has the leader boards, leaving a well designed game like Plock
with no objective or replay value. Achievements would have been a great addition, such as 'Reached 1,000,000 points in Classic mode' etc.
Plock has a great interface and nice graphics, and it's a real shame to see the content level is very low. Save your money, and skip this simple game.
