'Flight Control' by Firemint has been a big hit since it came out, and slowly but surely improving over time, with the most recent update including a new airfield and fresh retina graphics.

This game has 5 airfields in which you must direct your aircraft onto their matching landing area. Every now and then, a new update is released which features a new plane/airfield, but other than that, there aren't many updates.

The aim is to reach a high score overtime, landing each plane that enters the screen from any direction, meaning you must be aware while playing.The game features achievements, as well as an efficient leader board system. Flight Control also integrates a stat list, such as total number of planes landed, etc.

This is an addicting app and i recommend to anyone who doesn't want to pay too much for a nice app. One of the maps has an emergency plane, which makes it's own landing pattern and you must work your way around it.

With lots of planes to keep you busy, you need to direct them correctly and quickly otherwise you will crashplanes in a panic, so be careful.
